Театр стійкості
Цей театр не просто побудували — його створювали разом.
Протягом двох тижнів наша команда працювала тут, у лісі, щоб перетворити цей простір на тимчасовий театр під відкритим небом. Ми працювали з деревом, збирали конструкцію, облаштовували сцену та глядацькі місця й поступово формували простір, у якому сьогодні ми зустрічаємося.
До роботи могли долучитися всі охочі. Хтось допомагав безпосередньо на будівництві, хтось працював із матеріалами, хтось допомагав організовувати процес. Для нас було важливо, щоб театр не просто з’явився на цьому місці як готова архітектурна конструкція, а створювався самими людьми, які потім будуть ним користуватися.
Особливою частиною цього процесу стала співпраця з ветеранами. Вони долучалися до будівництва та власноруч розмальовували фасадні частини театру. Так елементи конструкції стали не лише частиною архітектури, а й результатом спільної роботи та особистого внеску учасників.
Увесь цей час ми тісно співпрацювали з театральною командою — разом обговорювали, яким має бути простір для вистав, репетицій, читань і зустрічей, як у ньому мають взаємодіяти актори та глядачі, і що потрібно театру, щоб він був справді живим простором, а не просто сценою.
Театр стійкості став результатом перетину архітектури, театру та спільнотворення. Тут ми не лише створили фізичний простір — ми створювали його через взаємодію, участь і спільну відповідальність за результат.
І сьогодні ми нарешті відкриваємо його для глядачів.
Першою подією стане читання нової п’єси Андрія Григор’єва «До світла і назад».

Нам подобається ця п’єса, бо там усе як ми любимо: і смішно, і трагічно, і змістовно, і актуально.
А ось що сам Андрій Григор’єв написав про цей текст:
«З бою я потрапив Туди. Там теж, як і на війні, все просто та чесно: є Світло, і є Темрява. І Там все бачать, все знають, просто все-все-все. Я хотів би знову до Світла, якщо візьмуть…»
Сьогодні цей простір уперше стане театром. І ми запрошуємо вас бути частиною його першої вистави.
Resilient Theatre
This theatre was not simply built — it was created together.
For two weeks, our team worked here in the forest to transform this place into a temporary open-air theatre. We worked with timber, assembled the structures, built the stage and audience areas, created pathways, and gradually shaped a space where people could come together.
Anyone who wanted to could take part in the process. Some people joined the construction directly, others helped with materials or supported the organisation of the work. It was important to us that the theatre would not simply appear here as a finished architectural structure, but would be created by the people who would later use it.
An important part of the process was our collaboration with veterans. They took part in the construction and painted the theatre’s façade elements themselves. Their drawings and colours became part of the architecture, making these elements not only part of the structure, but also a visible record of the people who helped create this place.
Throughout the process, we worked closely with the theatre team. Together, we discussed what the space should provide for performances, rehearsals, readings and gatherings; how actors and audiences should interact; and what was needed to make this a living theatre space rather than simply a stage.
Resilient Theatre is the result of bringing together architecture, theatre and collective work. We were not only creating a physical space — we were creating it through participation, collaboration and shared responsibility for the result.
And today, we are finally opening it to the audience.
The first event will be a reading of “To the Light and Back”, a new play by Andrii Hryhoriev.
You may already know Andrii from his play “Lviv 3000.” Remember it? Here is your chance to hear a new text by this talented Ukrainian playwright.
We like this play because it has everything we love about theatre: it is funny and tragic, meaningful and relevant.
Here is how Andrii Hryhoriev describes the text himself:
“From the battlefield, I ended up There. There, just like in war, everything is simple and honest: there is Light, and there is Darkness. And There, they see everything, they know everything, absolutely everything. I would like to return to the Light, if they will have me…”
Today, this space will become a theatre for the first time. And we invite you to be part of its first performance.

What if the theatre begins before the first performance - through drawing, building, meeting and working together?
From 31 August to 13 September 2026, we worked together within the UNBROKEN community to design, build, and bring to life a new outdoor theatre, a shared space for gathering, storytelling, expression, and social connection.
The project brings together theatre practice, and co-building with bio-based materials. There will be several ways to take part:

— a community building toloka
— a final theatre performance and gathering
